European elections, democracy, and Euroscepticism: a systematic literature review

Comments Off on European elections, democracy, and Euroscepticism: a systematic literature review

Even the dominant theoretical model in Eurosceptic studies, ‘hard / soft’ approach recognises no a priori reason for the existence of Euroscepticism except as a means of political differentiation of centrist parties. Although this is certainly not a universal understanding of Eurocepticism has colored the debate and also reflects the understanding of the elite. In this research we intend to elaborate a theoretical essay in which we will elaborate a systematic review of the literature on the conjugation of the following concepts: European elections, democracy, and Eurocepticism.

Keywords: Eurocepticism, Democracy, European elections
